Introduction to Defensive Shooting is the next step in learning to defend yourself and your loved-ones using a handgun.  First, we start by developing your consistent defensive grip and stance.  Next we develop and/or fine-tune the way you draw from the holster.  Then, you will learn about kinesthetic alignment and how this helps when you deliver multiple shots on target, quickly and effectively.

Your instructor will help you hone the edge on your inner warrior expert. You’ll get your body working with your gun instead of against it. Then, you’ll learn which intuitive skills work best with what your body does naturally under stress in, a combat situation.  Finally, you’ll learn to apply this information simply and effectively.

Students are required to cancel at least 3 days in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 3 days before the class may be granted credit toward a future class, at the instructor’s discretion.

Introduction to Defensive Shooting Prerequisites

Students should have some formal training covering Basic Handgun safety and fundamentals. This may include almost any training that covered the Universal Handgun Safety rules, and basic safe gun handling.
Examples of valid training: hunter’s safety training, military training, CCW training, USCCA’s Basic Handgun course.
